Riders sign REC Jeff Fuller

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed  receiver Jeff Fuller.

The 6-foot-4, 223 pound Fuller spent three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders  posting 91 receptions for 1,251 yards and eight touchdowns in 25 regular season games after signing with the team in September, 2013.

Fuller signed with the Seattle Seahawks in February, 2016  but was released on June 28.

“Jeff brings a valued combination of size and speed that will compliment our receiver group,” general manager and head coach Chris Jones said in statement. “His ability to play inside or out not only provides us depth but can allow us to be flexible and unpredictable in how we lineup.”

Fuller has size and talent but has struggled with injuries during his career. Over the past two seasons, Fuller suffered an MCL injury to his knee, a separated shoulder and dealt with a foot issue. It was an injury that ultimately led to release from the Seahawks.
