Agree with you SoD – this should NEVER have taken 2 months to be heard and to reach a final decision! They need to find a faster way to deal with these issues. Fittingly Carter is going to be sitting out in the final game that Montreal and Ottawa play.

The decision took much longer than necessary on such a straight forward incident. IMO, Carter got off way too easy …. He should have been required to take shock therapy and spend a week in a padded room for his brain cramp. Not sure if that would even straighten out this particular ‘head case’.

What is so baffling is why the CFLPA would spend time and money (the player’s union money) on an appeal that had zero chance of being successful ? he walked directly towards the Ottawa bench then struck their HC. On national television no less ! – what am I missing here ?
