Canadian QB Brandon Bridge signs with Riders

Canuck quarterback Brandon Bridge has agreed to terms with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, per CFL sources.

Just over a week ago, the 24-year-old dual-threat pivot was released by Montreal after refusing to take a pay cut.

The Riders flew Bridge in on Sunday night for a workout on Monday.

Bridge, the six-foot-four, 229-pound signal caller, was selected by the Alouettes in the fourth round, 31st overall in the 2015 CFL Draft. He dressed in 14 games over two seasons while with Montreal. The Mississauga native started the final game of the regular season last season for the Als, completing 21 of 30 pass attempts for 220 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-24 defeat to Saskatchewan.
