National receiver Kris Bastien has signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, per CFL sources.
The 26-year-old was drafted in the third round, 26th overall by the Riders in the 2014 CFL Draft and spent that year on the practice roster with the green and white.
In January 2015, Saskatchewan sent Bastien to Winnipeg in a deal involving fellow Canadian pass catcher Cory Watson. That year the six-foot-three, 213-pounder played in 12 games for the Bombers making 10 receptions for 116 yards with a long of 26.
Bastien was with Winnipeg for training camp in 2016, but he was released by the team on Sunday.
