Canadian receiver Rashaun Simonise signs with Bengals

Canadian receiver Rashaun Simonise has signed a free agent contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 22-year-old went unselected in the 2016 NFL Supplemental Draft on Thursday, but agreed on a deal with the Bengals shortly after. Around 10 different teams made offers.

Simonise recorded 1,079 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns during his junior season at the University of Calgary.

He was declared academically ineligible for his senior year and that led to him getting added to the Supplemental Draft.

On Monday, July 11, the six-foot-five, 200-pounder held an NFL Pro Day at McMahon Stadium – six NFL teams attended.
