Montreal Alouettes

Alouettes lose another offensive playmaker, Kenny Stafford six-gamed

Montreal receiver Kenny Stafford has been placed on the six-game injured list with what is believed to be hip and toe ailments.

Sources say the 26-year-old receiver had a really bad turf toe issue going into the regular season.

That’s just the latest in a line of setbacks for the Alouettes who lost S.J. Green for the season with torn knee ligaments. 2015 CFL rushing champion, running back Tyrell Sutton is on the six-game injured list with a sprained MCL. That’s three key players on Montreal’s offence who will miss significant time.
