Anything that they can do to protect players from unnecessary time off the field is good for the players and the certainly helps the bottom line for the Caretaker (not having to pay players who are sitting on the IL). I’m sure that consideration is secondary but good on the team for taking good care of their players – not that they won’t have injuries – unfortunately.
