Beaver Dam Wisconsin. Been there. Small place near the Horicon Marsh which is a great place in the fall when thousands of Canada geese fly in on the way south. So, Maas is a real small-town boy that has succeeded.

Maas says, now that he’s in Edmonton, that this is his dream job.

Ottawa was a stop over and not a destination for him.

I guess that’s why the Red’s management is looking for compensation. They were treated as a training ground.

Maas is a graduate of the Mike O’shea school of grace and gratitude.

In reply to Mark. You are correct Mark. Maas was with Toronto as QB coach from 2012-2014. He replaced Mike Gibson as Ottawa OC in 2015

I’m confused – how could Maas be the offensive coordinator for Redblacks’ first 3 seasons when they have only been in the league for 2014 and 2015?
