Because you don’t need some stupid “nickname” to sell tickets… Part time league… Argos I heard will work the concession stands for the TFC games. You may also notice your pathetic double blue is nowhere to be seen at BMO field. Pretty sad you needed the city to help your team find a place to play as you got punted out of the skydome!

congrats to the Argos for returning home to their old stadium grounds. Should be very cool seeing CFL down by the lake again. Maybe the best stadium in the east.

Only one problem is this jacked up the prices for seats if you ask me. I used to get 2 seats for the price I will pay for in the same area I had season ticket for in the dome. But glad there out of the dome

Man, couldn’t agree more with that…it’s a little ridiculous how all these MLS teams (notice that the league is called Major League SOCCER) try and pretend to be European with their names…in addition to Toronto FC for example, FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo, Sporting Kansas City, and (worst of all IMO), Real Salt Lake…

I think it will be great to see the Argos at BMO, and I think it will do a ton to revitalize the franchise. The interest is obviously there when you look at the TV ratings in the GTA. The Skydome was a terrible place to go to a football game (not helped by the fact that the owners did everything possible to make it miserable for the Argos). For that matter, I’d argue that the Skydome is a terrible place to watch anything, unless you’re able to get 50,000 people in there…and except for a sudden, miraculous streak from the Blue Jays, the only thing that did that was the Grey Cup…
