I thought that the Hamilton coaches did an amazing job strategizing for this game.

C’mon Bruce Arthur- really? Much of this makes me laugh.
1. Bruce Arthur sudddenly cares about the CFL?
2. the ‘woe is me’ Argo pity party about “no where to practice, barely had a home to play in, the team no one loved”…blah blah blah. Guess what? When the Cats went through the same issues during TH Field construction, they went to the Grey Cup….excuses excuses…
3. And before you jump on Mr. Braley: please stop and think. Don’t cast blame towards “cheapskate” owner David Braley- you should be THANKING the man for volunteering to lose millions to keep this crappy, poorly-marketed charity franchise afloat on behalf of all of the CFL.
4. All that said- I feel bad for the PLAYERS as they are the ones who bust their arses every day/week and leave it all on the field. I’m no Argo fan- but much respect to those guys and ALL the players who give their all every week to the game they love.

As a Tiger Cat fan, I know what it is like to be on the wrong end of a marginal call that affects the game. I think that the call was technically correct, but marginal because it did not affect the play or threaten an injury. I think that it is the kind of call that the league should counsel officials to let go. We had one of those cost us the Grey Cup last year … and it still burns. So, I understand your disappointment.

Remember that Hamilton had time to run at least one if not two more plays before kicking … I like to think that they would have picked up another 10 yards … and Medlock’s kick was plenty long enough and would have been good from 55 yards … so I am not sure that the call cost you the game. But I wish that Hamilton had beat you guys without the benefit of the call.

Certainly the Argos played well enough to win. Ricky Ray had me holding my breath. He is and has been a great quarterback in the league. I hope that he is back next year with a good shoulder. I would like the Tiger Cats to beat him at his best. I felt badly for Waters on the two misses. He is a great kicker. I guess the wind plus some “rust” was just enough to put him off his game.

If a Hamilton player hits a quarterback (in a running situation) anywhere below the hip it gets talked about as being a dirty play for weeks. A Toronto hits a quarterback (in a throwing position) at the knees after the ball was thrown it’s a terrible call. Hamilton fans know what it’s like to play in a situation where your home is not your home. Remember the Guelph/McMaster situation Argo fans?

Sorry that league that dose every possible to make things better for this terrible franchise and still they can’t keep it together (i.e. the Questionable Ricky Ray trade, the granting of one or two Grey Cups in coming years before Hamilton will get a sniff at one)

So Argo fans and players can’t play the poor me card or the underdog in this one. That will always be Hamilton as long as the league keeps treating us like the unwanted redheaded stepchild.

I’m sure a Hamilton player pushed him so that he would fall into our 4th string quarterback with the possibility that he could injure him.

Get real.

The Tiger cat player may have contacted him and from that he took a dive into Masoli hoping that he would either affect the play or take him out of the game.

Look at what Hamilton had to endure for almost two seasons and yet in each of the those years, Kent Austin still coached this team to a Grey Cup.

Toronto couldn’t get it done with their hall of fame quarterback against a team using their 4th stringer and injuries.

Stop making excuses and call it for what it is…..Toronto CHOKED

What was called against Hamilton over the last couple of games were the worst calls ever. But, since it happened to Toronto it’s always a bigger deal.

Hamilton quarterbacks have been assaulted without even so much as a second look by the officials and have resulted in concussions for Mathews and Collaros.

We are down to our 4th string quarterback, it’s about bloody time our players were provided with some protection by the referees.

The worst call ever? whoever said that doesn’t watch a lot of football. Hamilton Lawrence had the same call against him two weeks ago. Standard call in the CFL.
