In reply to GoCats!. Agree - from what I have heard and read, he seemed to become pretty belligerent if any of his decisions were questioned. So much for working together as a team. At times it almost looked like he WANTED to be fired. Either that or he finally realized that he was out of his depth and really had no idea what to do or how to turn things around.That seemed a bit evident in some of his coaching decisions and his tendency to blame players for the losses.

First problem seemed to be the sweeping changes at the co-ordinator position. I thought it might be trouble based on the defense he lead in Hamilton. I was astounded to read the wiki that said he’d only been a DC for that one year.

Despite that – had he approached the media differently, I suspect he would have been given more time.

When one is 0 for that many plus have a defiant stance towards the fans/media … IMO, one is saying one doesn’t want more time to turn it around.

Oh please, Chamblin was coach of the year in 2013 purely because of Cortez and Hall. That was also the reason he won the Grey cup that same year, as well as going over the salary cap thus presenting a stacked team.

What did he accomplish since then??

Chamblin’s selective memory fails to recall the atmosphere he created by throwing coaches and players under the bus everytime he lost.

Chamblin, in case no one has ever explained rule of survival in professional sports. It’s what have you done for me lately.

And for you that wasn’t much since 2013.

That’s why you’re gone.
