We were also assessed a penalty after the TD was scored, so that would have pushed the PAT attempt back to the 47-yard line. The safest (and most respectful) thing to do was to take a knee in that situation.

I too don't think there is anything wrong with Justin Money. If you don't have to kick the PAT - as the Cats didn't - it makes no sense to do so. No harm, no foul.

Taking a knee instead of going for a convert may have been a small gesture of respect, having just scored with under a minute remaining in a lopsided game (a touchdown that the Argos basically gave the Cats, with several defensive players unable to make the most of their chances to stop Holley on his 40-yard run, and then letting him get almost to the goal line on the next play)

OL definitely got the job done and hopefully will remain intact for now. Injuries are already putting a strain on personnel, to say nothing of having Murray and Laurent go out later in the game. Not sure what the team does if Medlock is unable to kick since he seemed to be having some trouble late in the game, with the team opting not to go for a convert on the last TD after he missed the previous one. Hopefully it was just some heat-related cramping or other minor problem. Would love to see them sweep the series although I don't think it will be by as big a margin.

An amazing game all around but I'm not ready to give Holley the nod. He made some big runs late in the game on pretty much fresh legs against an Argos defense that was barely able to make it back to the huddle after getting their collective a**es handed to them for 3.5 quarters in stifling heat. No doubt he is a great asset to the team, especially if utilized properly...I'm just pointing out that Holley's runs were at a point where the Argos were done competing.

A terrific display by offense, defense and good special teams play too. Calgary is really coming on and looks formidible right now and we have to get that pesky Alouette monkey off our backs. Getting back some of the injured will certainly help solidfy things. As mentioned by others -- we may not run the ball a lot, but nice to see Holley carve up some runs. Now, if we can run the ball when the other team may expect it and do well, we'll have something --- important to be able to run during a game -- eats the clock, wears down the opposing d lines, opens up the passing game (although no problem yesterday), and keeps the ball out of the opposing offense's hands. Great victory overall. Now it's on to the Skydome (I hate calling it the rogers center).

Great game, anything less than winning the Grey Cup will be a disappointment this year. Kudos to the coaching staff and all the depth players who are admirably filling in right now, as this team doesn't seem to be missing a beat. Just wish Austin would pull Collaros early, not only to prevent injury, but to give the others guys some valuable playing experience. Also, watching on TV, then watching the late game, I really can't believe the difference in the quality of the commentary. Rod Black and Duane Forde are absolutely terrible - there's no other way to describe it. They add nothing at all, and miss so much, including Watters missed FG attempt and all that followed (as they were going to break the minute the ball left his foot, assuming 3 Argo points). And has anyone ever before seen 3 objectional conduct penalties on one play where all 3 went to the same team! The refs are almost as bad as Black and Forde! I must say I miss the Drew-Steve post-game videos on this site (and the daily practice updates as well), where can we find those?
Thanks!
