I’m not sure what you’re saying either.

Braley has been a saviour for 3 of the 9 teams in the league — directly, through his willingness to step up and purchase them. I believe he also had a hand (behind close doors) in saving the Hamilton Pan Am stadium investment from the doom it faced being between a rock (the city) and a hard place (Ticat ownership). A marketing genius he is not, that I will grant. But without him, I highly doubt there’d be a CFL today.

That all said, I think he should sell the Lions. He’s already stepping away from the Argos. His job is done.

If I ever see him at a game, I would love to give him a respectful handshake and sincere thank-you.

He keeps raising ticket prices while giving nothing in return to the fans. Look at the Lion’s falling attendance and you can’t help but notice it coincides with the passing of Ackles.
Braley may love the CFL and pays the bills, but that’s about it. Without Ackles, he is clueless and a detriment to the teams he owns.

Well in BC the top man just gets paid and paid and paid as the fans walk and walk and walk ! Worst confirmation was the owner Mr. Braily indicating he had thought of firing the Coach and GM ; as fans walked on him . Four provincially funded stadiums , a magnificent rebuild are proof that deflate-gate is here in a massive way ! So ; after Toronto and now BC are we to believe the fix isn’t in . That an Order of Canada ; has made the recipient so proud ! His job was the Lions not assuring empty seats not signing buddies and paying them outrageous money ! We have surmised ‘schmuck”seems quite content to eh cover his tracks and limited football knowledge ! Da fix is in !

I’m not saying he’s a terrible owner, I just feel the team would be better off in the hands of someone local, who really has a grasp on the market here and who will bring the team up to the level some of it’s opponents are at with their operations.

Did he not spend close to $100,000* in expanded meeting space at their facility (*according to the July 9 Vancouver Province), shell out for 100 iPads for all the players, and have new high def TVs placed around the locker room? Sure, the club appears to have cut back in certain areas, but the owner could also make a claim that he’s not seeing a return on his investments.
