I’m surprised that you can’t get CHML outside the city limits. A few years ago, I was shocked to get it (very faintly) in my car in suburban Raleigh, NC!

What made me stop as I was moving up the dial was that I immediately recognized Coach Sal’s voice!

However, if it means more revenue for the team (and keeps out ticket prices reasonable), I’m all for this!

While excited for TSN Radio I remain a traditionalist at heart. I just wish the call letters could be honoured in some way. But 1050 CHUM met this same fate and the world continues to revolve so hopefully the CKOC tsunami is equally mild in its effect.

This, to me at least, is akin to the Ticats being renamed after Bob Young (the owner). While I love Bob, losing the historic Ticats name would indeed be a shame.
