Koch was signed as a free agent from Edmonton last off-season but he made just 14 catches for 215 yards and was benched after fumbling away a punt return in Montreal on Sept. 9. He never made it back into the line up.

The team liked what it saw from American receivers Tiquan Underwood and Terence Tolliver at mini-camp this week and their entry-level contracts are more cap friendly than the veteran Koch’s.

Thurmond earned a starting job in week two last season but suffered a season-ending injury in the second quarter while Ojuri played in one game last season.
